Dr Tanith Davidson

Dr Tanith Davidson has nearly 20 years experience as a qualified homeopath and loves working with people to assist them in achieving optimal health. She is devoted to her patients and is always seeking new advances in natural medicine that may assist them.

Dr Davidson offers a range of interventions in addition to clinical homeopathy. Her first love in terms of the healing arts was aromatherapy massage and reflexology, which she qualified in before studying homeopathy. Her 45 minute, 90 minute and 120 minute aromatherapy massages now include vibroacoustic therapy using tuning forks. The vibration of the carefully placed tuning forks is remarkably effective for reducing the intensity of muscle spasms. She also incorporates biopuncture using homeopathic injections when indicated for injuries, muscle spasms and chronic pain.

In terms of other bodywork therapies, Dr Davidson has undergone training in Kahuna Bodywork and is a member of the Kahuna Association of South Africa. She values Kahuna Bodywork and the related Polynesian Floor Treatment for helping patients who are struggling with physical pain and tension. She finds that releasing the physical pain and tension using Kahuna based interventions can also lead to both subtle and profound emotional releases and relief, in addition to inducing deep relaxation. Easing patients' physical discomfort and mental strain using Aromatherapy massage, Kahuna bodywork, Polynesian floor treatment, Vibroacoustic therapy and Reflexology is some of her most rewarding work.

Another healing modality that currently has a beautiful influence on Dr Davidson's personal well-being and her professional practice is Qi Gong. She deeply appreciates the positive impact it has on her. She is also currently studying to be a teacher in the Ren Xue system, which incorporates Qi Gong and other life cultivating modalities. You can learn more about Qi Gong and the Ren Xue system here.

While completing her homeopathy training in South Africa, Dr Davidson also travelled to India to study under the renowned homeopath, Dr Rajesh Shah, in his primary healthcare clinic. She has completed a number of post-graduate courses including The Complementary and Alternative Medical Approach to Reproductive Health, DNA testing and Neurotherapy. She frequently attends functional medicine seminars and lectures on various health topics to ensure that she continues to learn new or different approaches to treatment.

Dr Davidson has also lectured Diagnostics of Respiratory and Mental Health and worked as a supervising clinician in the Homeopathy Clinic at the University of Johannesburg.

Dr Cornelia Botha

With nearly 20 years in practice as a registered homeopath, Dr Cornelia Botha loves making a difference in the lives of those who trust her and partner with her on their journey to improve their health and well being. Three categories stand out as the most rewarding work for Dr Botha, namely supporting patients facing a cancer diagnosis, solving immune related challenges, and assisting men and women with their reproductive health, including PCOS, endometriosis, erectile dysfunction and infertility (both male and female).

Dr Botha gets a thrill out of solving a medical mystery on behalf of her patients (when necessary), especially if it means the patient will finally receive the information, guidance and/or treatment he or she needs.

One of the most impactful modalities in Dr Botha's personal life has been mindfulness and breath work. Here the emphasis is not solely on the meditative aspect of mindfulness, but on the integration of the underlying principles of mindfulness into one's daily life as a catalyst for change and resilience. She also offers mindfulness mentoring to her patients.

After completing her master's degree and registering as a homeopath Dr Botha ventured into private practice in partnership with Dr Tanith Davidson. After spending several years establishing Healthinc with Dr Davidson she spent 10 years sharing some of her insights from private practice with students as a part time diagnostics lecturer in Haematology (i.e. blood and immune system diseases and cancers) and Cardiovascular (i.e. heart and circulatory diseases), as a general supervising clinician (i.e. the qualified doctor overseeing student doctors) in the Homeopathy Clinic at the University of Johannesburg and as a co-supervisor for research students.

Dr Botha is no longer accepting new patients. She may, however, consider accepting new patients referred by her existing patients or if referred by a practitioner. She is also open to new patients seeking mindfulness mentorship. We are referring all other patients who contact us to see Dr Botha to Dr Davidson, since Dr Davidson has worked closely with Dr Botha for her entire career and she continues to do so.
