Qi Gong

What is Qi Gong?

Qigong is an ancient practice that translates to "cultivating vital energy". It combines movement, breath, and mental concentration to optimize energy (Qi) in the body, mind, and spirit. Traditional Qi Gong and Ren Xue Qi Gong are both anchored in traditional Chinese practices, drawing heavily from Daoist, Buddhist, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophies.

What is Ren Xue Qi Gong?

Qigong is a general term for thousands of different methods and styles practiced globally. Ren Xue is a structured, comprehensive curriculum integrating specific Qigong systems with deep theoretical teachings about the laws of life. While traditional Qigong focuses primarily on physical health and optimizing energy flow through gentle exercises, Ren Xue goes further as a broader, holistic "Life Cultivation" system designed to elevate every aspect of a person’s existence.

Traditional Qi Gong and Ren Xue both utilize the body, breath, and mind (consciousness) to directly influence and improve the state of Qi. The Qigong system taught within Ren Xue is called Yuan Gong, which consists of nine sequential moving and still methods. These methods are paired with theoretical frameworks that help practitioners understand their own behavioural and thought patterns, dismantle limitations, and continuously elevate their state of consciousness.

Why practice Qi Gong?

The goal of traditional Qi Gong is to promote physical health, prevent illness, and balance the nervous system. Practicing Ren Xue Qi Gong will do this while also taking you on a deeper journey of personal transformation.
